What Zyx does.
Every row runs in the product today. What needs an app we have not tested live yet is listed with the apps below.
Answers from your own documents, with the source.
- One search across everything
- Mail, files, Notion and your connected apps. Every answer shows its source, and one click opens the file at the right place.
- Scans and Office too
- Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF and scanned letters. A question on a PDF line gets an answer with its page.
- Everyone sees only their own
- A hit shows only to the people who may also see it in the app. Where Zyx cannot read an app's sharing, it shows less, never more.
- Memory
- Zyx remembers what matters from your chats. Every line can be read, edited and deleted, and shows where it came from. It learns nothing from private chats.
- Mark and ask
- Mark text in a mail, an answer or a file and ask Zyx about it. On request the answer becomes the mail.
Office work as jobs you can see.
- Jobs with a plan
- A bigger task gets a plan with steps. You see which step runs and which one waits for you.
- Routines
- A skill plus a time or an event: a new mail, a new file in a folder or a webhook. A routine runs alone only after you have read and approved its limits.
- Costs nothing when nothing changed
- When nothing changed since the last run, the routine ends without a model.
- File the post
- Scan a letter with your phone. Zyx gives it a name and files it in the right folder by your filing rules. A bill becomes a task with its due date. Zyx never pays.
- Documents
- Quotes, reports and price lists as PDF, Word, Excel or PowerPoint, in your own letter layout if you like. Zyx changes an Excel sheet only after a preview. Every version is kept.
- Its own browser
- Zyx opens pages, reads, clicks and fills in forms. You see each step and take over to sign in. Zyx does not store your password.
- Tasks and events in one place
- One board and one calendar from the tools your team already uses. Before Zyx changes anything there, it asks you.
You decide what goes out.
- No mail without your yes
- Before a mail or a risky change, you see exactly what will happen. Approve, change a word or reject, from your phone too.
- The right person
- A question goes to the person who is responsible.
- Honest about undo
- Every action says first whether it can be undone. Then the card says clearly: done or failed, with the reason.
- Helpers with fixed limits
- A helper has one job, clear rights and a monthly budget, checked on every call. Never more rights than the person it works for. It can have its own mail address.
- Every rule on one page
- House rules, what asks first, what never happens and the limits of each helper, with the day a rule last held.
Everyone works their own way.
- Private chats
- Each person has chats only they see, and their own connections, like their own mailbox.
- Your own skills and routines
- In a private chat, each person describes a skill, a routine or a helper. A dry run first shows every step. What works well they share with their department once the lead agrees.
- Speak instead of typing
- Dictation with a live caption. In a huddle Zyx speaks every answer and then listens again. Speech and voices run on your server, in German and English.
- On the phone too
- The workspace runs in the browser and on your phone, over your company's private network.
- From Claude Code
- Zyx tools over MCP, with the same rights and cards as in the workspace.
- Pictures, video and sound
- Subtitles, short clips and product photos from your own recordings. The free option comes first, and what costs money Zyx shows first with its price.
On your server, under your eye.
- Data stays in house
- Files, search, chats and keys live on your server. The text the model needs goes to the chosen cloud model, after a filter on your server has checked it. The filter lowers the risk. It is not a guarantee.
- Local if you want
- An EU route or a local model is possible. With a local model, no text goes to a cloud model.
- Backups with a test restore
- Every night a backup that Zyx restores as a test. An encrypted copy goes to a folder you own, like a NAS.
- Cost control
- Your own key, your own spending limit and bounds per company, helper and routine. Each task goes to the cheapest model that can do it.
- Errors stay in house
- Your admin sees errors and traces on your server. Zyx sends no usage data to us.
- Keep a folder out of search
- A folder that should not be searched is out with one click. Commands run in an isolated box.

Files, mail over IMAP, Notion and Claude Code over MCP are tested live. Zyx connects to the apps below too. We set up the first live connection with you, and you set what Zyx may do in each app.
